First Commercial Bank began in Jackson Mississippi in 2000. Since then, it has grown into a $915 million asset financial institution and is known as Mississippi’s first and foremost bank for businesses and professionals. As the bank approached its 25th year in business, it decided that a distinctive new name would help articulate its core value proposition and avoid confusion with other companies with ‘First’ or ‘Commercial’ in their name.
